Join This Wednesday’s Twitter Chat on #BlackMaleEducators
This Wednesday, October 11, at 8pm EDT, the Campaign for Black Male Achievement (CBMA), The Fellowship: Black Male Educators for Social Justice and Education Post have teamed up to host a Twitter chat focused on #BlackMaleEducators.
Currently, Black male educators represent only 2 percent of educators in the classroom. This Twitter chat is designed to create both a safe space and a place of engagement for Black male educators to share their experience in the world of education. It’s also a space for the rest of us to learn how to support, recruit and retain these educators. We would love to have you participate in this experience.
Here’s how you can participate:
- Follow @edu_post, @BMAchievement and @BMECfellowship on Twitter.
- Join the conversation using the hashtag #BlackMaleEducators. (Click “Latest” at the top of the feed to see the most recent tweets using this hashtag.)
- Share the image below to others who would be interested in participating.
- Share your answers to each question posted with the hashtag between 8 and 9pm ET, and retweet and like others’ responses.
