Paul Pastorek is a longtime Louisiana education leader who helped build one of the most rigorous and progressive state accountability systems in the country as state education chief and president of the State Board of Education. A graduate of Loyola University in New Orleans, Mr. Pastorek holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and a law degree. He and his wife Kathy have three children and one grandchild.
