In an opinion piece in The Washington Post, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel redirects our attention to parents in the hoopla of U.S. education secretary nominee Betsy DeVos. While education folks are focused on what kind of school reform is needed, "parents are having a different conversation at the kitchen table," says Emanuel, and that's "one based on finding the best school, not whether it’s a 'reform' school."
